We want to congratulate our friend, Dr. Diane Tedick, as she receives the University of Minnesota’s Award for Outstanding Contributions to Postbaccalaureate, Graduate, and Professional Education. Here’s what the University of Minnesota had to say about Dr. Tedick:
Diane J. Tedick is the teacher, advisor, and mentor every student deserves. She is passionate about teaching and learning, and about providing students with many opportunities to learn and grow as scholars and professionals. She gives unselfishly and generously of her time and expertise to support and care for students throughout their careers. She has also been extraordinarily innovative in designing courses and programs that foster collaborative relationships and learning communities nationally and internationally.
Dr. Tedick is one of the nation’s foremost scholars in the integration of language and content instruction, and it’s an honor to have her join add.a.lingua on April 28 at GVSU for a discussion about what the research on dual language immersion education reveals. If you’re interested in the promise and benefits of dual language immersion education, we highly encourage you to register for this free event–and bring your friends.
Congratulations, Dr. Tedick. You deserve it!
